In March 2006 last, the 24^th edition of the BIEMH was held, organised by Bilbao Exhibition Centre and the Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association of Spain (AFM).

The excellent results were boosted by the fact that 53% of the persons attending were foreign, thanks to the registration of direct exhibitors from Europe, America and Asia.

But this increase was not only demonstrated in the quantity but also in the quality of the professional trade visitors, who chose the BIEMH as a magnificent opportunity to make new contacts and improve business relationships. Their attitude reinforces the BIEMH as an excellent platform for foreign projection and for consolidation of technological progress and development.
